Your personal online guitar, bass or ukulele coach!

If you’re anything like me you’ve probably spent a lot of time looking at online video lessons. Masny are excellent! Some… not so much. The problem is, they’re kind of “one size fits all”. Wouldn’t it be great if you could stop the video and asks the instructor “what exactly exactly are you doing there” or “what did you mean when you said that?” Well now you can! And I also offer online ukulele and bass lessons as well!

What Students are Saying:

Paul is a wonderful teacher. He is very patient and kind, and I’ve learned so much from him! -JS

I had attempted to learn the Ukulele multiple times in the past. It wasn’t until I enrolled in Paul Elwood’s class that I made any progress. I can now pick up a chord chart and, over time, do a somewhat creditable job with the song. I also understand that with patience and practice, I can show improvement. The patience and practice aspects are totally attributable to Paul.

Paul is a great teacher and a wonderful guitar player, his love of the instrument is clear in the way he teaches. He is a very genuine and kind person and that just adds to his exceptional lessons. – EF

Paul has a great understanding of the guitar, as well as the fretboard. Most importantly, he is able to articulate this knowledge in a manner that is easy to understand, while demonstrating proper technique. Lessons are always fun, and I leave Paul’s studio with something to work on for next time… – TM

Paul has an incredible energy, and he is a very supportive teacher. He takes into careful consideration my learning style and pace, and he offers extra help to enhance my experience. I am always impressed by Paul’s enthusiasm and passion for music and teaching. – DL

From the first time Paul and I met I felt very comfortable with him , he was very professional and at the same time super pleasant . His passion for the music can be seen and felt , I am happy that I met him and it’s a blessing to have him as my guitar instructor . – RW

I have been taking lessons with Paul for about two months and my playing has improved dramatically in that period as well as my confidence that I can play better. Paul is patient and kind and really easy to work with. At first I wasn’t sure if an online lesson would work but my schedule is too hard to accommodate in person lessons. It’s worked just as well as in person and has saved time. I look forward to seeing Paul and his positive attitude each week knowing he is working to help me get better. He is very responsive and open to goal discussions. Just for background I took formal in person lessons for a year somewhere else and quit and was trying to pick things up after several years off and get to the next level from beginner and play with folks outside my house. – CC
